Religious Liberty Laws

"Religious liberty" laws apply to Christians.  They are especially needed to preserve the rights of Christianists to be assholes to anyone who doesn't hew to their narrow beliefs.  Especially when it comes to anyone who is non-cis OR Muslim OR non-hetero OR Sikh OR a woman who wants non-procreative sex for any reason OR a woman who is pregnant by her rapist.  (note: OR written in all caps means the "Boolean OR" which is a statement that is true if any one of its terms is true.  Your daily geekery.)

In this article, we see what happens when this is tested on GOP legislators who are all het up about Christians' religious liberty: how do they respond when asked about Ted Cruz's call for law enforcement to preemptively “patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods before they become radicalized.”?  And how might that jive with "Religious Liberty?"

"I'm not going to respond to that!" said Trent Franks (R-AZ).  "Go Cruz!"

Perhaps certain Christian neighborhoods need to be preemptively patrolled before they become radicalized.  But, perhaps it's too late for that.
