Trump Spits on Veterans

Presidential Candidate from Bizarro Universe Donald J Trump spit on all veterans today, when he said that succumbing to the battlefield scarring of the psyche that results in what we now call PTSD was an indicator of weakness.

When you talk about the mental-health problems, when people come back from war and combat, and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over and you’re strong and you can handle it, but a lot of people can’t handle it....

Among my co-workers today, on hearing about this, were exclamations of surprise that he would even go that low, wonderment at how he thinks that will help him... and then there was the one who said, "Oh you can't just read a headline that THE MEDIA put out there... I'm sure it was taken out of context...."

I wonder if I can convince her that Election Day is Nov 18.
