Having your team in the wild card playoff is like Christmas Morning. Only... instead of getting to open all your presents, you get to open one. If it's not a dud, then you get to open maybe five more... unless you find three duds. If you find three duds, someone takes away ALL the rest of the presents and gives them to some other kid.
So if that didn't happen, then you get to open maybe seven more... unless you find four duds.
And if you survive that, only seven more... and you might wind up with the biggie!
