There's something called the Streisand Effect after a now-famous case where Barbara Streisand tried to suppress Internet dissemination of photos of her Malibu home. The very efforts she made only served to assure the everlasting fame and effectively infinite availability of those photos. She probably knows now that ignoring them would have been the optimal strategy.
