Prayers for Dawkins?

Actually... why not?  It's not being offered as a substitute for something else they could be doing.  Prof. Dawkins (who suffered a stroke last week) is already getting fine care and seems on the road to recovery.  This is simply their vernacular for "We're concerned for you, and we wish you well."

Since the Anglican church is far less a science-denial cult than many American churches, we can assume good will and consider this sincere.  There's no need for people to get all pissy about it.
