Leave the Clocks Alone. Eat Pi.

Just to reinforce my point about the stupidity of screwing around with the clock, it seems popular culture is catching up to me.

First, the most recent episode of You, Me and the Apocalypse (per US broadcast, S1E7) included a plot thread about how Daylight Saving Time (DST) differences between jurisdictions can literally end life on Earth.  They're launching a rocket to deflect the comet that will kill us all, and it turns out the Russian contributors wrote code that lacked DST, since Russia had abolished it.  But the US coders assumed DST.  Without a fix, the rocket's flight path will be a bad miss.

Then came today's xkcd:

I think there is nothing to add, except, happy Pi day!  Go eat some pi.
