Worst commercial ever... but think about this.  Martin Luther King was martyred for the cause of civil rights.  In 1986 we made his birthday (-ish) a national holiday, and it wasn't very long before the SALES started popping up.  Disgusting, right?

9/11 will soon enough also be the excuse for BIG SALES!  8AM DOORBUSTERS!  These guys were only a little ahead of the curve.  They are now closed indefinitely.  But they have broken the ground for the next one.
