What would you do with exactly $1.00?
A piece in the Dallas Morning News asked this question of a couple dozen people and got some mundane answers, and some that are out-there.
I liked the treasure map idea, and the cup of cheap coffee for someone you admire so you can pick their brain for half an hour.
But I would actually buy a Lotto ticket. Now everyone will say, David, you actually know some math, don't you know that is a crappy investment?
It's not an investment. It's buying possibility of winning an obscene amount of money. Any possibility (P > 0.00) is enough to give the enjoyment of contemplating the possibility. That alone is entertainment worth far more than $1, especially at today's entertainment prices.
