Repeal the 2nd Amendment

The president delivered his sad-face at the latest mass shooting in writing this time.

In a written statement, Obama said that regardless of the motive, it was unacceptable that these sort of mass shootings happen so frequently in the United States. “This is not normal. We can’t let it become normal,” he said. “If we truly care about this — if we’re going to offer up our thoughts and prayers again, for God knows how many times, with a truly clean conscience — then we have to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them. Period. Enough is enough.”

It is beyond idiotic that Americans' access to the toys of murder remains so unfettered as it is.  Texas state legislator Tony Dale stated, perhaps in a paroxysm of accidental honesty, that the reason he was against allowing Syrian refugees to come to his country was: they would have disturbingly easy access to firearms.

Tony Dale has disturbingly easy access to firearms.  So do I.  If the President means it when he says, "enough is enough," then this is how it's done: Repeal the racist, outmoded, deadly 2nd Amendment.
