Oscars

I don't give a damn about the Oscars but this year it has my attention.  Black actors have pointed out again that the nomination process is producing an unbalanced outcome in favor of whites.  And whites are again trying to shut down any meaningful discussion of privilege.  NYTimes cartoonist Brian McFadden offers this summary.

This strip is about the Oscars but it's also a fair preview of the wagon full of... ahem... fertilizer that's about to be dumped on you, once you hear: "Now, I'm not racist, but..."
