Get Back
Anyone who managed to watch more than an hour of The Beatles Get Back, please help me out.
We have what we call the "ten-minute test" for movies we're not sure about. If the first ten minutes don't give us reason to continue, we'll generally abandon it and move on.
Well, we got through an hour (!) of the first two-and-a-half hour (!!) episode (!!!) of this. But then cheerfully abandoned it. We spent more than the requisite ten minutes because of our sheer incredulity that The Beatles could possibly be this boring, tedious, and unlikable.
Especially the last. Was the great revelation of this work that the Beatles broke up because they had come to the point of being unpleasant to one another?
So, if you slogged further than we could into this morass, please tell me if we're missing much?
