Last week after a Confederate Treason in Defense of Slavery memorial was pulled down by a jolly, if rowdy, crowd, the city of Durham, NC announced they would be charging a few people with breaking the applicable laws. Which, indisputably, those people had done.
Well, that day, hundreds of people lined up outside the jail to turn themselves in. See the video here.
What with the Pumpkin Patch in DC sullying this word daily, it's nice to have the reminder of what patriotism really means.
