I was browsing around and I came across this link. It leads to a New Yorker interview with Paul McCartney in which he says, among a great many other things,
“I’m not sure I should say it, but they’re a blues cover band, that’s sort of what the Stones are,” he told me. “I think our net was cast a bit wider than theirs.”
I read this to Jill and added, I don't know... don't you think that would really have been Led Zeppelin? There's kind of a straight line from Robert Johnson through Muddy Waters to Led Zeppelin.
And Jill shut me right down as only she can: "I don't think I would argue music with Paul McCartney."
I have a Twitter account but I mostly keep myself within the bubble of #infosec twitter.
Every now and then, I am reminded why that is a good thing
