Birthdays

Today, Feb 22, is George Washington's birthday.

Ten days ago today, Feb 12, was Abraham Lincoln's birthday.

The USA, which counts these as their two greatest presidents, celebrates their two birthdays on a single federal holiday called Washington's Birthday. In many states, it's called Presidents' Day (with variations from state to state including incorrect apostrophe placement). Some racist southern states exclude Abraham Lincoln. Sore losers?

Anyway. This holiday is celebrated on the third Monday of February. The third Monday of February can never fall on the 12th or the 22nd. There may be a deep lesson here.
