How to Contract

A Chicago design firm called Segura has this as their entire contract form now:

In other words, “If we trust each other we’ll work well together, and if not, then three reams of paper covered with finely printed legalese will never put that right.”

  1. A gentleman’s word is his bond. Huge amounts have been achieved with nothing more than a handshake, or just a nod and a wink.

    Also many laboriously contracted arrangements end in tears.

    The lawyer-leeches fill their vacuous bellies either way.

      Trust is key. For whatever reason, lawyers don’t appear to believe in it.
