Election Day

I’ve voted today, have you?  If you are like most Americans, probably not.  You might not even think this is a day to vote in the US, given that the year is not an even number (Congressional elections) let alone divisible by 4 (Presidential elections).  But local races are the ones with more of a chance to change your day-to-day life, and they happen every single year.

All politics is local

Go vote.  And if you’re not registered, go register today – at least you will be able to vote next year when it counts is noisier.

I voted. But they had no stickers 🙁

What amazes me is: I recently moved back to the town that I grew up in and the same woman from the League of Women Voters that was doing checkins when I was 18 is STILL staffing the polling place.

I got a perma-sticker in the form of a tattoo, but it has faded. I need to see if it can be touched-up.
